Dassault Systèmes and Autodesign & Styling's 'Prague Experience' contest launched
Mon, 18 Nov 2013Dassault Systèmes and AutoDesign & Styling magazine are looking for designs for everyday objects inspired by the Czech capital of Prague for their annual international design competition. The contest, which is open to designers from all over the world, calls for entries that are both user- and eco-friendly and reflect the character of Prague as a European city full of famous architecture and hundreds of monuments. Anne Asensio, vice-president of design experience at Dassault Systèmes and jury president for the past two years, said, "We are pleased to announce the third annual competition, and we have already introduced a small tradition.

The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. Saab seeks partner for new small car, aims to be a contract manufacturer
Fri, 25 Mar 2011Saab is continuing its search for a partner to help it build a new entry-level car and the company also wants to build vehicles for other automakers at its factory in Sweden, Chairman Victor Muller said. "We are talking with other manufacturers to buy a platform or drivetrain technology for this entry-level car," Muller told Automotive News Europe. "It should come as soon as possible, in 2014 the earliest." Muller said the car would be priced at about 20,000 euros, or about $28,300 at current exchange rates.
